Catalogue listing — not a hands-on review

About this model
The BPL 8.5 kg Semi-Automatic Washing Machine (BWS-N85EFWKD) is a 8.5 kg semi-automatic (twin tub) at ₹19,290, price checked 2026-09-30.
A family of four or five is the household this capacity suits. A semi-automatic is the cheapest way to machine-wash and copes with irregular water supply.
This is a catalogue listing, not a hands-on review: every figure comes from BPL's published information (www.bpl.in (Reliance/Fynd) PDP embedded product state), and the score is calculated from those specifications. Compare the Amazon and Flipkart prices before you buy — sale prices are often lower.

When this is not a good choice
Every condition below is derived from this product's published specifications and from how it compares with the washing machines we track — so you can check each one against your own room, supply or budget rather than take our word for it.
You live outside a metro or a major service town
BPL's service network is rated limited rather than excellent. Spare parts and callout times decide how a washing machine holds up over the years, so check service for your pin code before you buy.
