This is the most consequential price band in robot vacuums, because it is exactly where brands decide whether to include LiDAR — and that single component matters more than every other specification combined.
A LiDAR robot maps your home, plans a route, covers the floor systematically and accepts no-go zones. A gyroscopic or random-navigation robot at the same price cleans by probability: it will do most of the floor most of the time, miss the same corner repeatedly, and cannot be told to stay away from the pet bowl. Suction figures and mop pads are secondary to this.
Our blunt guidance: at this price, buy LiDAR or buy a good corded vacuum instead. A ₹11,000 canister genuinely out-cleans a ₹17,000 random-navigation robot, and the robot's only advantage — doing it daily without you — is undermined when it does not know where it has been.
