- Automation — basic HPS auto shut-off versus microprocessor control versus full PLC with HMI and data logging.
- Instrumentation — online conductivity, flow and pressure monitoring adds cost and pays back through early fault detection.
- Storage and distribution — tanks, pumps, piping and dispensing points are frequently excluded from headline prices. Check the scope.
- Civil and electrical work — often the buyer's scope. Clarify who supplies the foundation, drainage and power.
