Pureit's defining design decision is the one most buyers complain about and I think is exactly right: when the germkill kit reaches the end of its rated life, the purifier stops dispensing. Not a beep, not a blinking light you learn to ignore — it stops. Every other brand relies on you noticing an indicator, and in practice most Indian households run filters months past their rated life, which quietly turns a purifier into a contamination source.

Pureit's service network is rated very good in our assessment. That means reliable coverage across metros and tier-2 cities, with reasonable reach into smaller towns.

Before ordering any purifier, call the brand's customer care, give them your pin code and ask two questions: is there a technician covering this area, and how many days does a filter-change request typically take? Then ask for the AMC price in writing. That five-minute call prevents most of the regret in this category.

  • Raise service requests through Pureit's official website only — https://www.pureitwater.com/IN/customer-care. Third parties advertising "authorised Pureitservice" frequently have no brand relationship, charge more and fit non-genuine parts.
  • Always insist on a ticket or complaint reference number, and note the promised response window.
