Judge this on its HEPA filtration, which is genuinely good, and treat Plasmacluster as a bonus rather than the reason to buy. Active ion technologies do have published research behind them, but they are far harder for a buyer to verify than a straightforward H13 particulate rating — so make sure the fundamentals stack up first.
