The Crompton Premion Aura Prime is Crompton's induction-motor ceiling fan at ₹5,359 in a 900 mm sweep. Crompton publishes 225 CMM of air delivery at 50 W, which is a service value of 4.5 CMM per watt.
Run twelve hours a day for a seven-month summer, that works out to about ₹1,008 a year at ₹8 a unit. A 30 W BLDC in the same room would cost about ₹605, so the cheaper sticker here is not the cheaper fan.
