Lloyd's whole proposition is Havells' distribution applied to keenly-priced appliances, and in refrigerators that produces 310 L with an inverter compressor and five convertible modes for ₹30,500 — roughly what a 265 L Haier costs. On pure litres per rupee only Godrej competes.
The engineering is where the money was saved. Cooling is adequate but less even than the Japanese and Korean units — there is a real gradient between the top and bottom shelves, which matters if you store anything temperature-sensitive. Interior fittings are basic. None of this makes it a bad fridge; it makes it a fridge that does the fundamentals at a price.
Buy it when capacity per rupee is the deciding factor and Havells service is strong locally. Spend the extra ₹2,500 on the Godrej for more litres and deeper service, or ₹2,000 on the IFB for better build, if either matters more than the price.
