About this model
The The Water Science Kiddo Hand Shower Filter is a shower filter at ₹3,495 (MRP ₹5,495), price checked 2026-10-08 on The Water Science's own Indian store.
A shower filter reduces chlorine, sediment and some hard-water effects at the shower head — a low-cost fix for dry hair and skin, though not a true softener.
This is a catalogue listing, not a hands-on review: the figures and features are the brand's own, and the score is calculated from them.

Worth noting
- A filter cartridge cannot soften water the way an ion-exchange softener does — it reduces chlorine and some hardness effects, and needs regular replacement
- Out of stock on the brand store at the last check
When this is not a good choice
Every condition below is derived from this product's published specifications and from how it compares with the water treatment products we track — so you can check each one against your own room, supply or budget rather than take our word for it.
You live outside a metro or a major service town
The Water Science's service network is rated limited rather than excellent. Spare parts and callout times decide how a water treatment product holds up over the years, so check service for your pin code before you buy.
