At ₹24,890 on Blue Star's own store, this is one of the cheapest new ACs in India from a major brand, and it is not a stripped one: 3-star, a copper condenser with anti-corrosive blue fins, stabiliser-free operation, dry mode for humid days, turbo and eco modes, auto restart after a power cut and five years on the compressor.
Its rated cooling is 3,100 W, well short of a true 1 ton, and at 53 dB(A) on its lowest fan speed it is clearly audible at night. Treat it as an AC for a room of about 110 sq ft on a middle floor.
