What you get for the money is refinement rather than capacity: the quietest cabinet in this catalogue, the best interior finish alongside Bosch, dual independent cooling circuits, and a vacuum-chilled compartment that is genuinely unusual — it stores raw meat and fish below atmospheric pressure, which slows oxidation and measurably extends usable life.

The value case is hard to make on numbers. 302 L for ₹49,000 puts it against the 331 L Godrej at ₹33,000 and the 332 L Bosch at ₹42,000, and it is not convertible where both cheaper rivals are. Service is also the thinnest here — Hitachi's Indian footprint is small and parts are slow and costly.

Buy it if you cook a lot of fish and meat and the vacuum compartment solves a real problem, or if noise genuinely matters because the kitchen opens onto the living space. Otherwise the Bosch gives you comparable build and more litres for ₹7,000 less, with better service behind it.
