Catalogue listing — not a hands-on review
We have not tested this unit. The specifications below are parsed from the manufacturer's own listing, the features are their wording, and the score is calculated from those specifications rather than assigned by an editor. About this model
The IFB 12 kg Top Load Washing Machine (TL121RB2S) is a 12 kg fully automatic top load at ₹40,490, price checked 2026-09-30.
A large or joint family is the household this capacity suits. Top loaders are quicker and easier to load, and forgiving of Indian detergents.
This is a catalogue listing, not a hands-on review: every figure comes from IFB's published information (research workbook: IFB India), and the score is calculated from those specifications. Compare the Amazon and Flipkart prices before you buy — sale prices are often lower.

When this is not a good choice
Every condition below is derived from this product's published specifications and from how it compares with the washing machines we track — so you can check each one against your own room, supply or budget rather than take our word for it.
You live outside a metro or a major service town
IFB's service network is rated good rather than excellent. Spare parts and callout times decide how a washing machine holds up over the years, so check service for your pin code before you buy.

About IFB
Best known for washing machines, and a comparatively recent entrant in refrigerators. The engineering intent is serious — IFB's frost-free models use multi-airflow cooling and reasonably generous freezer volumes — but the range is young and the buying case rests largely on IFB's genuinely good service reputation from its laundry business rather than on a track record in cooling.
