Service reach

limited

The brand that made wet-and-dry vacuuming affordable in India, and the default answer to 'which vacuum under ₹8,000'. AGARO does not manufacture — it specifies and brands ODM hardware — but it specifies unusually well for the money: the Ace and Icon wet-and-dry units deliver genuine 1,400-1,600 W motors, stainless drums and blower functions at roughly half the Kärcher price. The trade-off is service. AGARO runs a courier-in warranty rather than a technician network, so a failure means a fortnight without a machine rather than a house call, and spares beyond filters and hoses are effectively unobtainable after two years.

AGARO strengths

  • The widest genuinely useful wet-and-dry range under ₹10,000 — no other brand covers 10 L to 30 L at this price
  • Blower function included across most of the range, which turns the unit into a workshop and car-drying tool
  • Stainless steel drums on the Ace and Icon lines, where competitors at the price use painted steel that rusts
  • Handheld and stick models (Regal, Elegant) are genuinely light and well balanced for daily Indian dusting
  • Accessory bundles are unusually complete — crevice, upholstery, brush and extension tubes are in the box, not upsold

What to watch for

  • Courier-in service only; there is no technician network, so a repair means shipping the unit and waiting
  • Filters are the running cost and are best bought in pairs — local availability is patchy outside metros
  • Suction is quoted in motor watts, not air watts or kPa, which flatters the numbers against Kärcher and Philips
  • Noise is high — most of the wet-and-dry range runs 80 dB and above, which is genuinely loud in a flat
  • Model naming is crowded and reused (Ace, Ace Plus, Icon, Icon Plus) — confirm the exact wattage and drum size, not the family name

AGARO service, AMC & customer care

AGARO's service network is rated limited in our assessment. That means coverage in India is genuinely limited. Before buying, confirm that a technician serves your area and that replacement filters can be delivered to your pin code — an appliance you cannot service or re-filter is a poor purchase at any price.

Before ordering any purifier, call the brand's customer care, give them your pin code and ask two questions: is there a technician covering this area, and how many days does a filter-change request typically take? Then ask for the AMC price in writing. That five-minute call prevents most of the regret in this category.

  • Raise service requests through AGARO's official website only — https://agarolifestyle.com/pages/contact-us. Third parties advertising "authorised AGAROservice" frequently have no brand relationship, charge more and fit non-genuine parts.
  • Always insist on a ticket or complaint reference number, and note the promised response window.
  • Ask the technician to record input and output PM2.5 readings on the service slip at every visit. It is your evidence base and it makes vague diagnoses much harder to sustain.

AGARO — frequently asked questions

Is AGARO a good vacuum cleaner brand?
Its service network is rated limited, and it sits in the budget price band. Courier-in service only; there is no technician network, so a repair means shipping the unit and waiting
Which is the best AGARO vacuum cleaner?
The AGARO ICON Bagless Cyclonic at around ₹6,174 is our top-scoring AGARO model at 7.7/10. Metro buyers who want maximum suction per rupee and can live with courier-in service If budget is the priority, the AGARO Regal 800 W Handheld at around ₹1,719 is the most affordable option in the range.
How do I contact AGARO customer care?
Use the official support page on AGARO's own website (https://agarolifestyle.com/pages/contact-us) and raise a service request there, insisting on a ticket reference number. We deliberately do not publish support phone numbers, because they change and stale numbers send people to third parties impersonating brand service. Have your model name, serial number and purchase date ready.
What is the AGARO AMC cost?
For a domestic vacuum cleaner, expect a comprehensive AMC covering all consumables to cost roughly ₹2,500-₹4,500 a year, more for copper, alkaline or hot-water models. AGARO pricing is quoted locally and varies between cities, so get it in writing and confirm explicitly whether the HEPA filter is included — that is the most common exclusion.
