The deciding factors

Marvella is Pureit moving upmarket, and the display is the reason to consider it. Rather than a vague indicator light, you get a countdown of exactly how much filter life remains, which turns the brand's hard cut-off from an unpleasant surprise into a manageable schedule. That combination — enforced safety plus clear information — is the most genuinely useful thing in this product.

Against that, Aquaguard Ritzy NXT makes its case differently: The Ritzy NXT exists for one reason: kitchen wall space. If you have measured your available wall and the Delight NXT does not fit, this is your unit. It keeps the RO and UV stages and the MTDS control, drops the UF membrane, and shrinks the tank to 5.5 litres.

Our practical advice: unless the Pureit Marvella RO's specific advantages match a real constraint you have — tank size for long water cuts, a higher TDS rating for brackish supply, hot water you will genuinely use — the cheaper unit is the better purchase. In this category, paying for capability you will never use is the most common way money gets wasted.
