Our verdict
The Qube is a different product from the Haier mini rather than a smaller version of it. It is built to be moved — bedroom to car to site office — and the 12 V DC capability is what makes that real. If you need cooling in more than one place, nothing else at this price does the job.
The trade is cooling capability. There is no freezer, and in a hot room it does not hold temperature as tightly as a full compressor unit. For drinks, insulin and medicines, cosmetics or a day's food that is entirely adequate. For anything you need reliably cold in a 42 °C summer, it is not.
Buy it for portability, for medicine storage, or for a car. If it is going to sit in one place and hold food, spend ₹500 more on the Haier 53 L — you get 18 more litres, a chiller box and better cooling for the same money.
