Good for daily touch-ups
Use it every morning on one day of growth and it is quick and comfortable. Left it three days once and it struggled. For the price and with Havells warranty I am happy.
Brand: Havells
A real rotary shave for the price of a trimmer
Our editorial score
Good — right for the specific buyer
Stubble cleanup and travel, or a first electric shaver where the budget is genuinely capped at ₹1,500.
There is a real gap between ₹1,500 and ₹3,300 in Indian electric shaving, and the RS9101 is the only machine in it worth recommending. Two floating rotary heads is a compromise against the three you get on a Philips Series 3000, but floating heads at all is the thing that separates a usable shaver from a novelty, and this has them.
Set your expectations at the price. This will tidy a day or two of growth into a clean-looking finish; it will not deliver the bald result a Braun foil gives you, and it will bog down on a week of coarse growth. Used as intended — a quick daily or alternate-day cleanup — it does its job and the pop-up trimmer covers sideburns.
The reason it beats the flood of ₹600 marketplace shavers is the boring one: Havells has a service network, sells replacement heads for about ₹700, and gives you two years of warranty. A no-name shaver at half the price has none of those, and when its heads dull in a year there is nothing to be done. If you can stretch to ₹3,300, the Philips Series 3000 is a materially better machine and the better long-term buy.

Specifications are from manufacturer literature and were checked at the last price-verification date. Brands occasionally revise stage counts, tank sizes and warranty terms without changing the model name — confirm against the current listing before purchasing.
A trusted electricals major whose purifiers punch above their weight on design and on genuinely useful engineering — Havells' revitaliser and corner-mount designs solve real kitchen problems. The Aqua S hot-and-ambient dispenser range is a standout.
Themes we see consistently in owner feedback for this model. These are illustrative of reported experience rather than a statistical sample — read the current marketplace reviews too, and weight recent ones most heavily.
Use it every morning on one day of growth and it is quick and comfortable. Left it three days once and it struggled. For the price and with Havells warranty I am happy.
