The US-Q19YNZE1 is the 5-star model in LG's AI Dual Inverter range, and on paper it is built for the Indian extreme: LG rates it to keep cooling at 55°C outdoors, runs it stabiliser-free from 120 to 290 V, and protects the copper tubing with Ocean Black coating and Gold Fin+ on the fins. Six convertible modes let it run as a much smaller AC on mild nights, which is where an inverter earns back its price.
Two things hold it back on this list. LG's product page does not publish the ISEER or the BEE annual-units figure, so its real efficiency cannot be compared against the Daikin, Blue Star or Panasonic 5-star units that do, and it was listed out of stock on LG's own store when we checked. Its 5,000 W rated capacity is also below a true 1.5 ton's 5,275 W.
