The Deebot 500 is a maintenance machine, not a cleaning one. Run daily on a small hard-floored flat it keeps dust and hair down; run weekly it will not do a thorough job, because random navigation means coverage is a matter of probability rather than plan.
Its honest appeal is Ecovacs support at the lowest price in the category. If you want a robot to buy you time between proper cleans and nothing more, it does that. Anyone expecting it to replace vacuuming should spend more.
