Roborock Vacuum Cleaners: Review, Models & Prices (2026)
Part of Beijing Roborock Technology Co., Ltd · Beijing, China
The current technical leader in robot vacuums, and the brand to beat above ₹30,000. Roborock was the Xiaomi ecosystem's robot supplier before going independent, and it has out-engineered its former parent since: LiDAR navigation across almost the whole range, genuine sonic-vibration and dual-rotating mop systems that actually scrub rather than smear, and the most reliable multi-floor mapping in the category. The S8 and Q Revo families are the reference products. The caveats are price and the fact that the very best features are locked to the flagship dock.
Roborock strengths
- LiDAR navigation as standard well down the range, giving accurate maps, no-go zones and reliable multi-floor memory
- Mop systems that genuinely scrub — sonic vibration on S-series, dual rotating pads on the newest models
- The best app in the category: room-level control, cleaning sequences, carpet detection and mop-lifting all work as described
- Dual rubber brush designs on newer models resist hair tangling nearly as well as iRobot's
- Official Indian presence with a proper warranty, which most Chinese robot brands still lack
What to watch for
- Genuinely expensive — the flagship Ultra models with auto-wash, auto-dry docks run well past ₹1,00,000
- The self-washing and hot-water mop features that justify the price only exist on the top docks; mid models still need hand-rinsing
- Large docks need real floor space and a nearby socket, which is a planning constraint in Indian flats
- Service is centralised and courier-based rather than a technician network
- Consumables — filters, brushes, mop pads — are ongoing and add up to ₹3,000-₹5,000 a year
Note
Roborock service, AMC & customer care
Roborock's service network is rated good in our assessment. That means solid coverage in cities, but you should verify your specific pin code before ordering.
Before ordering any purifier, call the brand's customer care, give them your pin code and ask two questions: is there a technician covering this area, and how many days does a filter-change request typically take? Then ask for the AMC price in writing. That five-minute call prevents most of the regret in this category.
- Raise service requests through Roborock's official website only — https://in.roborock.com/pages/support. Third parties advertising "authorised Roborockservice" frequently have no brand relationship, charge more and fit non-genuine parts.
- Always insist on a ticket or complaint reference number, and note the promised response window.
- Ask the technician to record input and output PM2.5 readings on the service slip at every visit. It is your evidence base and it makes vague diagnoses much harder to sustain.
