The L10s Ultra is the machine that made robot mopping genuinely worth having rather than a novelty. The distinction is the base station: it empties the dust bin, washes the mop pads with clean water, and dries them with warm air so they do not go sour between runs. Every robot mop without those three functions eventually stops being used, because rinsing a filthy pad by hand twice a week is worse than mopping.
The cleaning itself is strong. Dual rotating pads press down and scrub, which lifts dried spills that a dragged pad only smears. The pads lift over carpet automatically, so a mixed tile-and-rug Indian flat can be cleaned in one unattended pass. 5,300 Pa handles hard floors and low-pile rugs comfortably, and the 20 mm climb clears the raised door sills that stop cheaper robots at the bathroom.
The reservations are practical rather than technical. The dock is big, the consumables are a real annual cost, and Dreame's Indian service is younger than Ecovacs'. Buy from an official channel and budget for pads.

They work well on the hard floors that dominate Indian homes — tiles, marble, granite and wood — and mixed vacuum-and-mop robots suit the Indian habit of daily wet mopping better than vacuum-only models. The two things that defeat them are raised door sills, which need a robot rated for at least 20 mm of climb, and clutter, since floors have to be cleared of cables, slippers and stray fabric before each run. A LiDAR model with automatic carpet detection handles a mixed tile-and-rug home best.
Is a self-emptying, self-washing dock worth the extra money?
For a mopping robot, yes — it is the difference between a machine you use daily and one you abandon. Without auto-wash you rinse a dirty mop pad by hand after every run, and without auto-dry the pad sours between uses. Self-emptying matters less if you do not mind emptying a small bin twice a week, but combined with auto-wash it is what makes the robot genuinely unattended.
