Pureit's defining design decision is the one most buyers complain about and I think is exactly right: when the germkill kit reaches the end of its rated life, the purifier stops dispensing. Not a beep, not a blinking light you learn to ignore — it stops. Every other brand relies on you noticing an indicator, and in practice most Indian households run filters months past their rated life, which quietly turns a purifier into a contamination source.
The flip side is real and you should plan for it. If your technician is delayed, you are buying bottled water. Order the kit a week early, and keep the customer-care number on the fridge.
On purification and value the Copper+ RO is genuinely competitive — 8 litres of storage, 2,000 ppm capability and copper enrichment at around ₹16,000 is a good deal, undercutting Aquaguard's comparable unit while giving you a larger tank.
