Our verdict
A corded stick is an unfashionable format with one genuine advantage: the suction never fades and the battery never dies, because there is no battery. For households that found a cheap cordless disappointing after eighteen months, that is a real argument.
The compromise is obvious the first time you clean a room and have to change sockets. If cordless freedom is the reason you want a stick vacuum, buy a cordless. If you simply want something lighter and quicker to deploy than a canister, and you resent charging, this does that job at a fair price.
What we like
- Corded means constant suction with no runtime limit and no battery to degrade
- 1 L bin is large for a stick format
- Converts to handheld, and the accessory set is complete in the box
- Cheaper than any comparable cordless while cleaning at least as well
What we don't
- The cord defeats much of the point of a stick vacuum — you are still tethered and re-plugging
- Build quality is average; the telescopic joint is the common complaint
- Courier-in service only
When this is not a good choice
Every condition below is derived from this product's published specifications and from how it compares with the vacuum cleaners we track — so you can check each one against your own room, supply or budget rather than take our word for it.
You live outside a metro or a major service town
AGARO's service network is rated limited rather than excellent. Spare parts and callout times decide how a vacuum cleaner holds up over the years, so check service for your pin code before you buy.

About AGARO
The brand that made wet-and-dry vacuuming affordable in India, and the default answer to 'which vacuum under ₹8,000'. AGARO does not manufacture — it specifies and brands ODM hardware — but it specifies unusually well for the money: the Ace and Icon wet-and-dry units deliver genuine 1,400-1,600 W motors, stainless drums and blower functions at roughly half the Kärcher price. The trade-off is service. AGARO runs a courier-in warranty rather than a technician network, so a failure means a fortnight without a machine rather than a house call, and spares beyond filters and hoses are effectively unobtainable after two years.
