Should have bought this years ago
Was using scissors which in hindsight was stupid. This takes thirty seconds, does not pull at all, and rinses clean. The eyebrow comb is a bonus I did not expect to use but do.

The ₹900 device that solves a problem nothing else does
Our editorial score
Very good — recommended
Anyone still using scissors or fingers on nose and ear hair — which is most men, and it should not be.
This is a boring device that solves an actual problem. Nose and ear hair is trimmed by most Indian men either with scissors, which is dangerous close to the nasal lining, or by plucking, which is painful and a genuine infection risk in an area that drains toward the sinuses. A guarded rotary trimmer removes both risks for ₹900.
The specification that matters is the ProtecTube guard: the blade sits entirely inside a slotted metal tube, so hair enters and gets cut while skin physically cannot reach the cutting edge. Cheaper nose trimmers use a shallower guard and a weaker motor, and the result is pulling rather than cutting — which is exactly why so many people abandon them after one use.
If you already own a Philips Multigroom kit, you have this head in the box and do not need this device. If you do not, this is a better use of ₹900 than almost anything else in grooming, on the simple basis that it removes a real hazard from your bathroom.

Specifications are from manufacturer literature and were checked at the last price-verification date. Brands occasionally revise stage counts, tank sizes and warranty terms without changing the model name — confirm against the current listing before purchasing.
The sensible default for most Indian homes, in two different categories. Philips' AC-series air purifiers combine real HEPA filtration, an honest numeric PM2.5 readout rather than a vague colour ring, and India's best-supported purifier service network at prices well below Dyson. In male grooming Philips is simply the market — OneBlade, the BT/MG trimmer families and the Series 3000-9000 shavers together hold a share no rival approaches, and the reason is unglamorous: spare combs, replacement blades and service centres exist in tier-2 and tier-3 India, which is where most trimmers actually die.
Themes we see consistently in owner feedback for this model. These are illustrative of reported experience rather than a statistical sample — read the current marketplace reviews too, and weight recent ones most heavily.
